services |
Intervention
specialists provide early alcohol and other drug prevention and
intervention services to students and their families, assist in
referrals to treatment, and help transition students back to school
when they have been to treatment. The program provides training
and support for intervention specialists, data collection and management,
and develops partnerships with community agencies to prevent and
intervene with students involved in substance abuse and violence.
Workshops are continually available to schools on current topics
that assist school districts to create a safe, civil learning environment.
