schools establish a safe, disciplined, and drug free environment.

This
is a cooperative effort between The Office of Superintendent of
Public Instruction and The Washington State Criminal Justice Training
Commission to help schools and communities establish safe, disciplined,
and drug-free environment.
Services:
- Training,
planning and implementation for school security programs and officers
- Technical
assistance for policy development for school security programs
and officers, including job descriptions.
- Assessments
to determine additional training needs for school safety and security
programs.
- Technical
assistance for the establishment of threat and vulnerability assessment.
Goal:
To help school districts build capacity to develop and fully implement
school security programs.
