Working to prevent and intervene in substance use
in Yakima County |
ESD 105 coordinates
the Yakima County prevention grant to reduce and eliminate substance
abuse. The coordinator works through funding from the Washington
State Division of Alcohol and Substance Abuse.
Services:
Programs are
designed to meet the needs of the community related to the
prevention and reduction of alcohol, tobacco and other drug use.
Information
on substance abuse prevention and intervention is provided to local
students, staff, parents, and community members.
Through
this grant training related to prevention is also available to community
partners.

To
reduce risk factors related to substance use and abuse. To increase
individual, family, and community protective factors.
